COMPOSER, ARRANGER, CONDUCTOR, PIANIST, ORGANIST
Vince has worked with and/or conducted for many
celebrities including; FRANK SINATRA, BING CROSBY, DORIS DAY, CONNIE HAYNES, VIKKI CARR, ROBERT GOULET,
JACK JONES, CONNIE STEVENS etcetera, conducting such prestigious orchestras as the Vienna Philharmonic,
the Cincinnatti Symphony as well as many of the finest studio musicians in New York and Hollywood. For
many years he was arranger and conductor for the vocal groups the LETTERMEN and the SANDPIPERS. He
arranged many of their albums and wrote a number of songs they recorded, bringing them (and him) gold records.
At age 16 he conducted the famous MITCHELL BOYS CHOIR,
on the first of many tours culminating in a round-the-world tour. Vince was Musical Director for all ten of
the American Festival Theater's productions at the 1988 Edinburgh Festival.
He has written and conducted music for Films, TV,
Cable and Radio. Some of his film credits are: ON MOONLIGHT BAY, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY, ALONE, TIME FOR BEANIE,
GREEDY, LIKE THIS and LOOKING FOR LUCREZIA. Some of his TV credits include: PLAYHOUSE 90, THE TONIGHT SHOW,
THE BOB HOPE SHOW, THE BING CROSBY SHOW, THE NAME OF THE GAME, THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY and THE BORDER on PBS.
For many years Vince has directed the music for several
of the largest churches in the Los Angeles area: GOOD SHEPHERD in Beverly Hills, ST. VICTOR's in West Los Angeles,
CHRIST THE KING in Hollywood (among MANY others). In 2004 his commissioned mass for orchestra and chorus for
CHRIST THE KING Church, celebrating its 75th birthday received rave reviews.
Vince has been researching the music of Lucrezia Vizzana,
since he began writing the script, DISEMBODIED VOICES, with Harlene Stein and Victor Warren. He has now taken
all 20 of her motets and interpolated them into arrangements for voices. His familiarity with choral music,
especially Catholic choir music, the Latin texts, and the liturgy makes him the perfect person to bring Lucrezia
Vizzana's music to the screen. Very few people would have the familiarity and understanding of her music to accomplish this.
